We’re excited to welcome Scott Harkness, Associate Director of Innovation and Technology, to the Elevation Technical Services team.
Scott brings over 20 years of experience across construction, survey and geomatics, and digital delivery, with more than a decade focused on reality capture, QA/QC, and construction technology. His work spans complex projects across transportation and vertical construction, where he has led the advancement of 3D scanning, BIM/VDC, and data-driven project workflows.
He has built and implemented Virtual Design and Construction services on large-scale projects, with a strong focus on improving accuracy, reducing rework, and enabling better decision-making through integrated field-to-office data workflows. Earlier in his career, Scott helped develop one of the industry’s first structured QA/QC geospatial service offerings—bringing together survey, scanning, and construction verification to directly support project delivery.

Scott was drawn to Elevation’s strong momentum, leadership, and entrepreneurial approach, along with the opportunity to help build and scale new capabilities in construction technology and digital delivery.
He is passionate about solving real problems on projects—whether through improving workflows, implementing new technology, or enabling teams with better data to drive better outcomes.
Outside of work, Scott spends time with his family in the Fraser Valley, enjoying the outdoors through camping, time on the water, and staying active—along with tackling hands-on renovation projects at home.
