Elevation is pleased to welcome Steve Pereira to the team as our new Bridge Engineering Technologist.

Steve brings 25 years of experience as a Structural Designer and QA/QC Inspector specializing in highway and resource bridges. His expertise spans bridge construction engineering, temporary access bridges, bridge launches and erections, coffer dams, sheet pile retaining structures, and quality assurance.

One of Steve's most notable career achievements was his work on the $250-million Deh Cho Bridge spanning the Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories. As part of the project team, he provided construction engineering support and design drawings for critical bridge construction components, while also contributing to on-site quality control. He has also worked on major infrastructure projects including the Queen Station Construction Access Deck in Toronto, designing temporary decking and utility support systems for subway station construction.

Steve holds a Diploma in Engineering Design Technology from the College of New Caledonia and has continued to strengthen his expertise through advanced certifications in concrete repair and timber bridge inspection and maintenance.

When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Steve shared that he loves solving problems through constructable and clean design solutions. He is excited to join Elevation's bridge team, contribute to challenging projects, and continue expanding his knowledge and experience.

We are thrilled to have Steve on board and look forward to the expertise and practical field knowledge he brings to our clients and projects.
