We are pleased to welcome Mina Iskander to the Elevation team.
Mina joins Elevation as an experienced Bridge Engineer, bringing 14 years of structural engineering expertise and a proven track record in delivering complex transportation infrastructure projects. His experience spans detailed bridge design, rehabilitation, load evaluation, and project leadership across provincial and municipal assignments.

Mina holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Structures) from the University of Calgary, along with an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Structural Engineering from Ain Shams University. He is a Licensed P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and a P.E. in California, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence.
One of Mina’s notable achievements was serving as the Design Engineer of Record for the stabilization of the rockslide on Highway 97 near Summerland during the temporary stabilization phase in 2023–2024—a critical project that improved safety and mobility for the public.
Beyond his technical contributions, Mina has shared his knowledge as a part-time lecturer at the University of Victoria, mentoring the next generation of civil and structural engineers. His blend of academic insight and practical experience strengthens Elevation’s ability to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for our clients.
When asked what excites him about joining Elevation, Mina said: “I’ve worked with many of the people here before and really enjoy collaborating with them. My favorite part of what we do is seeing the results of our work solve problems, make clients happy, and improve life for the public.”
Outside of work, Mina enjoys spending time with his two young sons and ocean fishing.
We’re thrilled to have Mina on board and look forward to the expertise and leadership he brings to Elevation.
