Elevation is pleased to introduce Frances Wee, P.Eng, Bridge Engineer, who brings over a decade of experience in structural design, assessments, inspections, and maintenance strategies. A UBC Civil Engineering graduate, she pursued hands-on fieldwork early in her career.
One of Frances’ career highlights includes bridge inspections in the Yukon, where she traveled through Dawson City and the Arctic Circle via the Dempster Highway—spotting grizzly bears, moose, mountain goats, bison, wild horses, and even a lynx along the way.
She holds key field qualifications, including OSIM and BCMOTT Bridge Inspector Training, a Transport Canada RPAS Pilot License, and operation of boom lifts and snooper bucket equipment.
When asked about why she chose Elevation, Frances said, “Joining Elevation is an exciting opportunity to shape the Bridge Engineering Team while working in an environment that encourages innovation. I value Elevation’s strong ties to local communities and the chance to contribute to projects that directly impact the places I live and care about.”
