We’re excited to welcome Amir Kianivand to the team as a Project Assistant. With over 15 years of experience in civil, earthquake, and construction engineering, as well as extensive work in construction management, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our growing team.

His recent role with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit as a Ministry Representative in both the Paving and Structural Engineering Construction Services departments adds valuable insight into provincial infrastructure delivery. Prior to joining Elevation, he contributed to residential, educational, transportation, and major infrastructure projects across Iran, Canada, and the USA, strengthening his global perspective and technical versatility.

"I am excited to join Elevation because of its professionalism and strong focus on project and construction management services," said Amir. With his background, he looks forward to contributing to the team, learning from experienced colleagues, and continuing to grow his career with Elevation.

Amir said that his favourite part of the job is seeing projects evolve from planning through completion and knowing that the work makes a meaningful impact in the community.  

Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, relaxing in a café with a good book and continually learning. He is currently completing his PhD dissertation in Construction Management.
